How do I pair my remote with my R7 if connection is lost?

With the battery inserted, hold the remote close to the right hand side of the R7’s display (just above the buttons) and press and hold any key to pair. A successful pair is indicated by a more solid flash of the remote’s LED and the words “Remote Paired” displayed on screen. If you have trouble pairing please ensure that the battery in the remote is fresh, as a low battery will make pairing less reliable.

If the first method fails you can also try the following:

1. Remove the battery from the remote.
2. Turn the R7 off using the switch on the back (beside the power connection).
3. Wait 1 minute to allow all electrical components in R7 to discharge.
4. Turn the R7 back on using the switch on the back panel (do not press the power button on the front).
5. Insert the battery into the remote.
6. Press the power button on the remote.
