100 Series software updates
For R410, R610, R710 & R810
We endeavour to release products with software which is stable and bug free, but if issues are reported, then with our 100 Series products we are able to offer online updates and occasionally new features and enhancements. Updates will only be offered if a new software version is available, so don’t worry if no software is available, as this indicates that your product is working as it should.
Usually updates will download automatically providing your system is connected to the internet, but to manually check for software updates:
- From any source firstly press the MENU button and then scroll down to ‘System settings’.
- Click to select and then scroll down to ‘System info’.
- Again click to select and then scroll to ‘Check for update’ and click to select.
- Your 100 Series product will now check to see if a new software version is available and will advise you accordingly.
During an update it is important that the system is not touched or interrupted as this could cause corruption of the update.

Software version MOD: 2.3.8.xx – 28th July 2026
New features:
- Alarms – configure up to eight independent alarms using radio presets or built-in tones, each with a 10-minute snooze.
- Bluetooth headphones – pair up to six devices, with independent headphone volume control. The system speakers are muted while headphones are connected.
- Customisable source list – customising the list disables the self-sorting behaviour.
Improvements and fixes:
- Fixed an issue that could prevent some R610 systems from starting correctly after being in standby.
- Fixed audible pops when using HDMI.
- Improved Bluetooth remote pairing.
- Added emoji support.
- Fixed incorrect time display in some time zones.
- Improved interface, display, radio and streaming reliability.
