What does Loudness in the Audio Menu do?
This answer applies to:
- R610
- R710
The loudness option in R610 and R710 is adaptive and automatically adapts the low and high frequencies to provide a fuller listening experience at low volume levels. This function compensates for the fact that the ear is less sensitive to high and low frequencies at low volumes, which can cause audio to sound thin and makes for a more satisfying sound at low levels. For volume levels above 15, the loudness function is automatically deactivated.
