Before use we advise that firstly you fully charge the remote by using the supplied USB-C cable connected to the USB socket on the rear of the main unit. If the battery power is low then the indicator displays red but changes to white when charged.
Once charged, to pair the remote, press the menu button on your 100 Series unit and then scroll to System Settings. Click the control knob to select and then scroll to Remote and click again to select. Next hold down both the forward and back skip keys on the remote control for around 3 seconds until the white indicator light starts to slowly pulse. Now select Pair remote and next you will see Scanning and then Remote paired will then be displayed once connection has been established. Your 100 Series remote is now paired and ready to use.
If you have trouble pairing the remote, in some rare cases, it's possible that unintended devices are detecting and attempting to connect to the remote before your target device does. To improve pairing reliability, we recommend that other Bluetooth-enabled devices are either powered off or moved out of range during the pairing process. We also recommend clearing the remote pairing list for second and third attempts, just in case a corrupt connection has been established.
PLEASE NOTE that if the remote is not used for a while, then it enters sleep mode to conserve battery power. When in sleep mode, it will take a short period to wake and reconnect with the main unit, but this is normal behaviour.
