My R1S turns itself back on after power is disconnected. Is this normal?

If you suffer a power outage or disconnect power to R1S, then normal behaviour is for it to come back on and start playing rather than going to standby. This is to protect the integrity of any set alarm. We recommend that in day to day use that power should be kept constantly applied and that the unit should be only turned on and off using the standby button.
