Is there an alternative to the supplied telescopic aerial?

We understand that some people prefer not to see the telescopic aerial behind their Ruark product, but an aerial is essential for DAB and FM reception—and for best results it should be fully extended.

If you’d prefer something less visible, a flexible wire aerial is a good alternative and can often be easily hidden. For optimal performance, especially in challenging reception areas, an external aerial is the best option, though this does involve additional cost and installation.

Remember, an aerial is only required for DAB and FM. If your Ruark model includes Internet Radio, you won’t need an aerial at all for that feature. In fact, Internet Radio usually offers the best sound quality and the widest selection of stations.
