How should I position my Sabre-Rs for best sound?

For best stereo sound we recommend that the Sabre-R’s should be mounted on good quality speaker stands, 60-65cm in height and positioned 150-250cm apart with the rear of the speakers 10-15cm from the rear wall. They can also be sited on sturdy shelves or furniture but in either case, avoid placing them in corners or alcoves as this can severely affect the tonal balance. Your Sabre-R speakers provide excellent sound dispersion, but for the best stereo imaging we recommend placing them equidistant from your listening position.

If you are using Sabre-R’s with our R610 Music Console and you want to place the three items on a sideboard or shelf grouped together, then we recommend that in the Audio settings of R610 that Stereo+ should be enabled, as this will provide a much improved 3D stereo effect. In this scenario and space allowing, we recommend a spacing between the speakers of 60-100cm for best performance.
