Adjusting the Clock after daylight saving hour change

This answer applies to:

  • R1S
  • R2 Mk4
  • R2 Mk3
  • R3S

If your country observes daylight savings, you may need to make a quick adjustment to ensure your Ruark displays the correct time.

If you have previously set your Ruark to update its time from DAB or FM, the hour change should happen automatically. However, if you have set the time to Update from network, then twice a year you will need to update the time as explained below.

First, with your Ruark product switched on, quick press the Menu button and use the control knob to scroll to and select System. Next, scroll to Clock and quick press to select. Now scroll down to Daylight Savings and select. From here, you can choose whether to turn daylight savings on or off. Make your selection depending on the time of year, and your clock will change by one hour accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have been using DAB to update the time on your product and the time displayed is not correct, you will not see the Daylight Savings option in the menu. To make this visible, press the Menu button and use the control knob to scroll to and select System. Next, select Clock, then select Set date & time. From here, select and click on Update from network, and now the Daylight Savings option will be visible so you can adjust accordingly.
