Bluetooth connection and troubleshooting

To connect via Bluetooth:

  1. Select Bluetooth as the source on your Ruark.
  2. After a few seconds, it will enter pairing mode and display ‘Awaiting connection…’.
  3. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and select your Ruark model when it appears.
  4. Once paired, your device will show ‘Connected’, and its name will appear on your Ruark’s display.

If you can't connect:

  • Check that another device is not already connected. Your Ruark will automatically reconnect to the last paired device if it's nearby.
  • Clear the pairing list on both your Ruark and your device:
    • On your Ruark, press MENU, scroll to ‘Forget devices’, and press the select/volume knob.
    • This will reset Bluetooth and re-enter pairing mode to start a fresh connection.
