Attended by the glitterati of journalists, stylists and buyers from the likes of Telegraph, Grazia, T3, Mail on Sunday, Hi-Fi Choice, Wired, John Lewis, Selfridges and Liberty to name but a few of the 70 guests who came along to the champagne reception, the buzz in the room was almost tangible. Draped in green silk, the star of the show sat awaiting the grand unveiling and my goodness, what an unveiling it turned out to be!
Alan, our Managing Director and product designer got the show on the road with a presentation about the product and the inspiration behind it. As a company our aim is to design audio products that customers will love to use and cherish. The quality of the sound should be matched by the quality of the craftsmanship of the unit itself. Indeed, it should be a feature of a room rather than an addition. Taking 60’s contemporary design as inspiration R7 has the wow factor from every angle. Wow! was the word on everyone’s lips as R7 was finally revealed in all its fabulous iconic glory.
To say that the evening was a success would be an understatement, it was fantastic and the response of our guests was more than we could have hoped for, but exactly what we wanted to achieve. The radiogram reinvented, most definitely. The radiogram for now and forever, that’s a guarantee!
