The event took place in the lavish Hilton Hotel ballroom, where we were entertained by the hilarious Henning Wehn and served a delicious meal with plenty of wine and champagne flowing. By the time the Awards Ceremony took place we were all feeling rather jolly, to say the least!
The only product we had entered for the 2014 Awards was our MR1 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker system and we were absolutely delighted that, for the second year running, we won the What HiFi Award for the Best Desktop Stereo Speakers 2014.
They said “Ruark’s MR1s hold on to our best desktop speaker Award for the second year running. That’s quite some achievement considering just how competitive this sector has become.”
Let’s see what 2015 has to offer, but we’re hopeful that with our new generation R1 Bluetooth DAB radio and R2 streaming radio just being launched that next year could be a hat trick! Watch this space…
