A message from our founder
Hello,
2026 is a particularly special year for us, marking 40 years since we sold our first high-fidelity loudspeakers and it has prompted me to reflect on how far we’ve come, and on how much of that journey has been shaped by our fantastic customers. The way our products have become part of your lives means more to us than any industry accolade ever could.
A prime example of this was the competition we ran at the beginning of the year to win our award-winning R410 Music System. We invited customers to share, in their own words, how listening to a Ruark had made their lives just a little better. We had expected a few hundred entries, but when the competition closed at the end of February, we were astonished to have received several thousand. Reading through them was a major task, but it was also a genuine pleasure. So many were heartfelt, and each one was a wonderful testament to our products and to the joy of music.
That same spirit continues to guide everything we do, shaped by three key objectives:
Mission: To design products that appeal to the heart as much as the head; products that we ourselves would be proud to own.
Design: Our aim is to create design icons of the future. Clean lines and balanced proportions, together with special features such as our RotoDial control system, make our products unique and something you will be proud to display in your home.
Performance & Functionality: Our goal is class-leading performance, intuitive operation, and functions that are genuinely beneficial, rather than frivolous features that may seldom be used.
