Why is my R7 (Mk1/2) not visible to my DLNA streaming app or device?

This answer applies to R7 Mk1

For R7 to be visible to your DLNA streaming device it must be connected to your home network. If you have already setup a connection then it is likely that you have not used a network source since the last time R7 was in standby. In this instance, to make R7 visible to your device simply switch sources to ‘Internet Radio’ or ‘Network Player’ which will establish a new network connection. R7 disconnects automatically from any network while in standby to conform to EU power regulations.
