I’m not getting any sound when using the Optical or Digital inputs?

This answer applies to R4 Mk3 MR1 Mk2 R5 Mk1 R7 Mk1 / Mk2 R7 Mk3

Devices with a stereo output should play through the digital/optical inputs without any problem, but if you are connecting a TV, Blu-ray or any device that is likely to output in a multi-channel format then it is important that you enter the devices set-up menu and set its audio output to stereo or ‘Downmix’. To do this, please consult your devices user guide. If this does not work please also check the output volume of your device.
