We endeavour to launch products with software which is stable and bug free, but if bugs are found, then with online updates we are able to issue software that ensures your system is up to date. Online updates will only be offered if a new software version is available, so don’t worry if you check and no software is available, as this indicates that your product is working as it should.
To check for software updates, firstly you should have an ‘Internet’ source playing, so you know your system is connected to the internet. After this, press the INFO or MENU button and then scroll down to ‘System’. Click to select System Settings and then again scroll down until you see ‘Software Update’. Clicking on this option will open up a new screen which gives you the option to set to automatically download updates if they are available or to manually check now.
