I have a sharp interruption to my Spotify playback

This answer applies to R3 Mk1 R5 Mk1 R7 Mk3 Common Functions

(April 2021) The latest update to our R3, R5 and R7 models included a Spotify security update, but since this release we’ve discovered a software bug whereby the music is briefly interrupted within a few seconds when Spotify is first selected and played. We are working with Spotify to resolve this issue and expect to have a resolution and update available soon.
