Founded in 2017 ‘Leigh on Sea Brewery’ produce a range of craft beers, many of which have gone on to receive prestigious awards from the likes of SIBA and The Digital Beer Awards. The very first beer produced by the brewery is their multi award-winning ‘Legra Pale’ and it was this beer that we chose for the base of Ruark N Roll. Extra hops such as Amarillo and Mosaic were combined with the already present Citra to create a Pale Ale that is bursting with topical and citrus flavours with a well-equalised bitter finish.
Over 1000 litres of Ruark ‘n’ Roll were brewed and cans have been sent to everyone that we work with who continue to be so supportive towards our brand. It is no doubt that 2020 has been challenging for everyone and we wanted to bring a little cheer with Ruark ‘n’ Roll at the end of the year.
