Why can’t I connect my Bluetooth device to MR1 Mk2

This answer applies to:

  • MR1 Mk2

If this happens, firstly please check that no other device is connected! MR1 remembers up to 8 devices and will automatically attempt to pair with the last connected device, although you can only play audio from one device at a time. If the blue indicator light is solid, then this indicates that a device is already connected, so either locate and disconnect this device or else reset MR1, so you can reconnect. If you do reset MR1 then you will also need to also delete any pairing listings for MR1 in the Bluetooth settings on your device and then initiate a new Bluetooth search. MR1 should once again be displayed as a device to which you can connect and once selected you should find that connection between your device and MR1 is restored.

To reset MR1 and clear its pairing list, press and hold the control knob for 5s until all 3 LEDs light up. After this the Bluetooth input light on MR1 should start flashing, indicating that it is once again ready for pairing.
