My R7 appears to be ‘locked’ in start up mode

This answer applies to:

  • R7 Mk1 / Mk2

If your R7 appears to be ‘locked’ in start-up mode, press the power button either on the front of R7 or the remote. This should start sending R7 into standby mode, but before this happens quickly press the menu button and then on the display you should see a menu from which you can select your desired source. This shortcut usually resolves this issue, but should you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

During development, we work hard to ensure that our system software is reliable and bug-free, but if you do find any system glitches, please report them to us via our contact page so we can investigate and offer advice. Please also occasionally check for online updates for your R7. How to do this is explained in your R7 User Guide and elsewhere in our R7 Q&As.
