DLNA

DLNA stands for “Digital Living Network Alliance”, DLNA was started by Sony back in 2003 and has become an industry standard technology which allows users to share content such as video, music and photos between compatible DLNA devices.

DLNA works as a bridge between devices which allows for content to be accessed, whether it’s playing music on a stereo, showing a film on your TV or displaying a photo on a tablet, DLNA allows you to do this.

DLNA technology works through your home network so you will, therefore, need an internet connection in order to use DLNA functions.

In terms of our audio products DLNA means that you can access your music stored on a DLNA compatible device such as a NAS drive or desktop PC through your DLNA compatible Ruark Audio product.
