At Ruark we combine sound and design to create award-winning audio systems. Our journey began in the 1980s, when we made speakers for Hi-Fi enthusiasts, but in 2004, we decided to take on a new challenge: to develop a radio with quality sound as the priority. The result was our original R1, which was released in November 2006 and hailed as ‘the Aston Martin of DAB radios’ by the Sunday Telegraph. Since then our R Series models have evolved beyond just radios, but they have all maintained the same ethos: to deliver the finest sound and design possible.
