We are delighted to announce that What Hi-Fi? magazine for the second and third years respectively, have awarded us ‘Best Buys’ for our R4i (Best All-in-One Music System) and R1 Mk2 (Best DAB/FM Radio) at their 2012 award ceremony, held at the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, London.
For the same products to be given consecutive awards is a rare event and we are proud that the effort we put into our design and engineering is being noticed and appreciated by a team with such a wealth of knowledge and experience. These endorsements are further confirmation of our aim to build the finest small audio products available.
The 2012 Awards Edition of What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision is on sale now at all good newsstands.
For technical reasons in the UK you may be required to retune your radio so you can continue to receive the following DAB radio stations: Capital, Heart. Choice, XFM, LBC and Kiss.
You may see the usual station name change to “Station Moved” or “Moved”. Once you have retuned, if you see the station name listed with a question mark after it, please ignore that entry and choose the entry that doesn’t have a question mark after it. Please also remember that if you have saved any of these stations as presets, then you will also need to save these again.
Details of how to perform a retune are explained in our User Guide that was supplied with your product.
As a matter of course, it is recommended that you retune your radio from time to time to ensure you can receive new stations that come on air in your area.
For their November issue, What Hi-Fi Magazine have completed a roundup of radios to suit all tastes. Amongst strong competition, our R1 tabletop DAB radio comes out shining and in their summary What Hi-Fi say “this is still the best all-round performer around, regardless of price.”.
