We recently attended a press event hosted by our PR company Little Red Rooster at Polpo at the Ape and Bird. A great day was had by all and the event was well attended by numerous brands and members of the press. We have worked with Little Red Rooster for many years now and continue to be thrilled with the work that they do for Ruark Audio.
We have been thrilled at the response to our MR1 Bluetooth speakers over the years, picking up What Hi-Fi best desktop speakers two years in a row as well as 5stars from Mac Choice, Mac Format, HiFi Choice and Music Choice. Well, now they have been awarded the coveted Home Cinema Choice Recommended badge and a fantastic review from the publication. They commented that the MR1s “have more than enough horsepower to deliver a broad and impactful soundfield.”
Which? is regarded as an independent consumer champion as it does not accept advertising revenue from third party companies, so its in-depth reviews are regarded as honest and unbiased. After much hard work, we believe that our new R1 DAB radio is slicker and better than ever, so we are delighted that this has been recognised by such a trusted and influential publication.
The annual Radio Listeners Guide is essential reading for everyone who loves radio and is packed with useful information from station guides to transmitter information along with reviews on the latest products.
In their 2015 edition our MR1 bluetooth speaker, R2 streaming radio and R7 high fidelity radiogram have received great reviews, but in particular they loved our R7 high fidelity radiogram and have given it a two page feature concluding “Overall, the ‘radiogram redefined’ as Ruark describes the R7 is an unqualified success. Fully justifying its premium price tag, it delivers on style, facilities, engineering, build quality, and not least sound quality. Very desirable, I started out really liking it; I ended up absolutely loving it.” Need we say more…

In December 2015 we partnered with London-based graffiti artist Pure Evil to design limited edition versions of our acclaimed R7 high fidelity radiogram. The first of these ‘one-off’ pieces was put on display at the artist’s exhibition, ‘Teenage Kicks’, at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery. In 2016 we will be offering these very special editions for sale at select venues around the UK. Watch this space for details to be announced soon.
